One of Wendy's friends, DAVE ATKINSON, is taking to the road again for the 2017 London Edinburgh London, a 1400Km randonneur event. The LEL is a long distance cycling challenge which has taken place every 4 years since 1989. This year there are 1500 participants. Riders are allowed 100 to 116 hours to complete the course. The riders set out from Loughton in North London on Sunday 30th July. Dave has an allocated start time of 07:30.

Easter Raffle

We said a huge thank you to Mrs Cox, Mrs Harris, Lily Adair and all the students in Form ACX for the raffle they held at Northallerton Sixth Form College, which raised the fabulous sum of £100. Wendy was a student at the college from 1993-1997, a time she thoroughly enjoyed, and it's great that the current staff and students are giving us their support.

The Big Cut took place on Friday 7th April and was a huge success. We were thrilled by how many people turned up to support Elise and Annie and we are totally overwhelmed by everyone's amazing generosity. Before the event started, we had raised £1000 with donations from people who couldn't attend. On the night we raised £1233 and since then we have had further donations of £194, which brings our grand total to £2427 ! What a fantastic start to our fundraising and we can only reiterate our very sincere thanks to everyone who has supported us. You are all amazing!

A special thank you to everyone who helped with evening, to those who donated cakes, to Rachel and Laura Foster for the soft toys, to Ellie McNichol for the phenomenal "Wendy's Wish" cake and to Emma Smith for doing such a great job of cutting the girls' hair. Elise had 9" cut off, Annie had 11" cut off and they are both thrilled with their new look!
