We are hugely grateful to the Directors and Staff of Tennants, Leyburn for choosing to support our charity at the preview evening for their Summer Fine Art Sale, which was held on Wednesday 10 July. We held a raffle and, together with generous donations, raised the fantastic sum of £675. 🌈🌻
Haxby and Wigginton Methodist Church
We would like to say a massive thank you to the members of Haxby and Wigginton Methodist Church, for their very generous donation of £500, and a special thank you to Martyn and Gill Holman for suggesting our charity.
We would also like to say a very big, if rather belated, thank you to the members of Wigginton and Haxby WI for the generous donation they collected when we gave a talk.
It's 41 years since Bill and I left Wigginton, but we still feel a strong bond with the church and community and have been overwhelmed by the level of support from our many friends there. 🌈🌻
Royal Liverpool Hospital
We were delighted to be able to present this cheque to the Royal Liverpool Hospital, to enable them to buy equipment which will further their work in finding a cure for eye cancer. As ever, we received a very warm welcome, and it was great to meet up with Lauren, the head of fundraising, again. Since setting up Wendy's Wish, we've donated a total of £38,900 for eye tumour research and had previously raised almost £8,000 with Wendy's help. We'd like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has helped us achieve this fantastic sum of money and we look forward to continuing our support for eye tumour research with further fundraising events. 🌈🌻

Let's Get Quizzical
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to David Thompson, Ericka Brain, Angela Horner and all the staff at Handelsbanken, Northallerton, together with members of their families, for organising this fantastic quiz in aid of our charity. Everyone had a great time and we are very grateful to all those who supported us. The amazing sum of £969.80 was raised. Also, congratulations to the winning team! 🌈🌻

BOOK SALE
Recently, Annie decided to hold a book sale at Northallerton Methodist Church Coffee Pot and very well done to her and Elise for raising the fantastic sum of £25. Many thanks to everyone who supported the girls so generously. The remaining books are now at HSBC, Northallerton and all we ask for each book is a donation to Wendy's Wish. Many thanks to all the staff at HSBC for their help and continued support. WE WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL FOR MORE BOOKS BEING DONATED TO HSBC.
