It's hard to know where to start thanking everyone who made the White Tie and Diamonds Ball such a success. Judging by all the wonderful messages from people, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we are overwhelmed by your generosity in helping us to raise the truly staggering figure of £25,757!! Some of this will go a long way to helping with Eye Tumour Research and the rest will be used to help cancer patients and their families.
Coffee Pot Coffee Morning

WHITE TIE AND DIAMONDS BALL
Saturday 21st October 2017
White Tie and Diamonds Ball
At
The Garden Room
Tennants, Leyburn
We are delighted to announce that our White Tie and Diamonds Ball tickets are officially on sale priced at £60 each. For this you will get a delicious 3 course meal, entertainment and dancing to a live band, all in the fantastic setting of the Garden Rooms at Tennants, Leyburn.
For anyone who is interested in buying tickets, please email us at wendyswish2017@gmail.com to say how many tickets you require.
Ideally, we would like to sell tickets in groups of 10 but we can also cater for people only wanting a smaller number of tickets. We will then group these together to make tables of 10. We do have the option of a few tables that will seat 12-14 guests, should anyone have a group larger than 10.
We would also like to clarify that we are not expecting the men to wear the formal White Tie dress code of tails, although of course you are welcome to if that is your preferred choice, but we expect most men will choose a dinner jacket. The main thing is to enjoy yourselves - and bring your dancing shoes!
"GREASE" themed Summer Fete Monday 31st July
This is being organised by members of NCS, which is a government funded project that helps young teens to develop skills that will benefit them later on in life. For the third phase of the project they are planning a community action project and they are raising money for Wendy's Wish. To raise money and awareness for the charity they are going to be hosting a Grease themed Summer Féte in the lower floor of Northallerton Town Hall from 9:00 am untill 2:00pm on the 31st of July. We are very grateful and we hope they get lots of support.
Lemonade Sale
In March Wendy's wonderful nephew and niece, Harry and Isla, spent the afternoon selling lemonade outside their mum, Cara's, office at East Tennessee State University. The students were very generous and fully supported the event. As a result, Harry and Isla raised the superb sum of $60. Well done Harry and Isla - you are superstars and we are very proud of you.
