Thank you again to everyone who bought Wendy's Wish roses and another big thank you to Caroline Kitching and Derek and Iris Smith for organising it. BOOK SALE
Recently, Annie decided to hold a book sale at Northallerton Methodist Church Coffee Pot and very well done to her and Elise for raising the fantastic sum of Β£25. Many thanks to everyone who supported the girls so generously. The remaining books are now at HSBC, Northallerton and all we ask for each book is a donation to Wendy's Wish. Many thanks to all the staff at HSBC for their help and continued support. WE WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL FOR MORE BOOKS BEING DONATED TO HSBC.
Aoife's Haircut
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Aoife, who recently had her hair cut to donate to the Little Princess Trust and kindly asked people to sponsor her in aid of Wendy's Wish. Thanks to everyone's generosity Aoife has raised the amazing sum of Β£500. What a fantastic thing for someone so young to choose to do. You are a superstar Aoife! Alverton Brass Concert
We would like to say an enormous thank you to Garrie and all the members of Alverton Brass for the outstanding concert on Sunday afternoon and for allowing us to choose the programme, which made it a very personal tribute to Wendy. We would also like to thank everyone who helped in any way to make the concert such a success. Finally, sincere thanks to everyone who came to support us and who gave so generously, donating the amazing sum of Β£1,138. π»π
Emmy Jayne's Nursery, Northallerton
We would like to say a huge thank you to Amy, Emma and all the staff at Emmy Jayne's Nursery, where Elise and Annie went before starting school, for raising the fantastic sum of Β£250 for us, by selling Christmas cards and tea towels. Here is Emma presenting the cheque to Elise and Annie.
Chutney and Pickle at HSBC
A big thank you goes to Sue Spensley, from HSBC, who made jars and jars of chutney and pickles and displayed them in the Northallerton branch, where people were invited to make donations. Sue raised the fantastic sum of Β£269.
"Channel Swim"
We are very grateful to Di Terry, who swam the equivalent distance of the English Channel in her local swimming pool and raised the excellent sum of Β£250.
